At early levels you'll only really be Feinting when you need to hit something that you can't flank, but once you get Stumbling Feint you can Feint as a free action when you Flurry of Blows, and the flat-footed applies to both strikes on your Flurry. You also get bonus damage from Backstabber on your Stumbling Swings, which helps make up the difference too. Strength isn't very important for damage beyond the early game either, so you can start with anywhere from 10 to 14 Strength and be perfectly fine, depending on how much you want to use Athletics. Monks don't need Wis in this game and therefore can easily start with 14 or even 16 Charisma with 16 and the +1 to Feints from Stumbling Stance, you're as good at Feinting as an 18 Cha class, and most monsters having high Perception isn't really necessarily correct either. Stumbling Stance is one of the strongest stances.

AC and Reflex saves are much more important in this game than a couple points of damage. Note: Dex should always be your key ability as a Monk, unless you're going for Mountain Stance. It's just that now, other weapons are actually contenders and have strong mechanical arguments in favor of using them over greatswords and longswords if you so desire. Greatswords and longswords are just as lame and good as they've always been, and there's nothing wrong with using them. Deadly or Fatal weapons sacrifice some consistency in exchange for huge crits, Reach always has been and always will be great, combat maneuver traits like Trip and Shove are great if you don't have free hands but still want to use combat maneuvers (which you should, because they're actually powerful and worth using in PF2e), Agile helps negate MAP, et cetera. The difference is that now, other weapon traits actually matter and make enough of a difference to justify shrinking your damage die for. Greatswords (and longswords) are still that basic, big damage die weapon, and are perfectly fine to use if consistently solid damage is all you want. In other systems, they were always the best, simply because the size of the damage die was really all that mattered for about 90+% of builds that used weapons, and/or because the system just has completely uninteresting weapons with little to nothing to differentiate them from each other other than the size of the damage die (glares at D&D 5e).

Basic, uninteresting weapon with a big damage die and nothing else noteworthy about it. IMO, greatswords were always lame, in the same way that longswords always were.
